Cities4ELLA is a project aimed at creating a collaborative network among European cities to prevent and combat violence against women and domestic violence. The cities involved are Milan, Lyon, Barcelona, Karditsa and Berlin.
The project seeks to strengthen multi-stakeholder networks supporting women survivors of violence, involving local authorities, civil society organisations, social services, women’s shelters and anti-violence centres, law enforcement agencies, and other key stakeholders. Through the exchange of good practices, capacity-building activities, and transnational cooperation,
Cities4ELLA promotes sustainable and structured collaborations among partner cities, with the goal of improving the integrated response to gender-based violence (GBV), with a specific focus on women’s socio-economic empowerment.
